Bringing 1 or more of your own boats in a group of 4 or more guests? You can still take advantage of the Fishing Package Plan. Just substitute your boat for the camp boat provided and we will provide up to 40 litres of marine fuel FREE for your boat, free use of our cement boat ramp, safe, secure dockage, free electrical service at the dock, and boat trailer parking.

We recognize that there are many different types of travelers that want to be able to tailor their own “Perfect Package”. Perhaps you have a large family group with kids and/or seniors, have a mix of your own boats and ours and are not sure what package works best? Cottage Rentals - Fishing With Your Own Boats

Cottages vary in size – choose the size of cottage you would like. Once a group reaches the minimum occupancy shown, extra persons are charged at the reduced rate.

2 Bedroom Cottage sleeps 2 up to 6 – 3 person minimum charge
2 Bedroom Cottage sleeps 5 up to 8 – 5 person minimum charge
3 Bedroom Cottage sleeps 7 up to 12 – 7 person minimum charge

Fishing Licences, Fuel & Bait are available for purchase at the Lodge at prevailing rates. Fuel must be dispensed from on-site facilities only due to insurance regulations.

Bait and Fuel

LIVE BAIT

We are happy to keep a constant supply of bait on site for our guests or traveling public. You’ll find our prices very competitive, and having the availability right at your dock a great convenience. Please do not import bait from other sources onto the property. Live bait of any kind (minnows, crawlers or leeches) are not permitted for import at the the border.

Live Minnows – by the Dozen

Crawers – by the Dozen or by the Flat. Please note that flats should be pre-ordered to ensure enough stock for you, and they will be refrigerated in our bait fridge.

Leeches – by the Dozen or by the Pound. Please note that when requiring leeches by the pound, you should pre-order if at all possible to ensure enough stock for you.

FUEL is included with all of our lodge boats.

Fuel for private boats is available at the Lodge docks at current prevailing rates. Insurance regulations prohibit outside sources of gas being imported onto the property.

Portable Depth Finder: $65.00/week

Pets:

$75.00 per pet. Pets, although not encouraged, are accepted with prior arrangement. Common curtesy rules and restrictions apply.

6 Day Bear Hunting Package

FALL BEAR HUNT 2022

Saturday – Saturday, Aug. 13-20, Aug. 20-27, Aug 27-Sept 3

Note: non-hunting guests do not count toward boat and motor numbers allotted with the hunt

Package Includes:

HOUSEKEEPING COTTAGE for 7 nights (Saturday-Saturday)
HUNTING FOR 6 DAYS (Sunday-Friday) with the exception of opening week, which will have 5 days of hunting, starting on Monday, August 15th.
BOATS & MOTORS (1 boat for 1-3 hunters, 2 boats for 4-6 hunters)
ALL MARINE GAS for fishing on Perrault Lake
PRE-BAITED SITES
ALL BAITING SUPPLIES daily
ORIENTATION TRIP to bait site

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the terrain in our vast bear area, it is recommended hunters bring along an ATV. A limited number of the bait sites are accessible by truck. You must discuss personal requirements with Bob prior to your hunt. Refer to our bear hunting facts or call us for further details.

Bear Hunting Licences, Fishing Licenses, bait for fishing and gas may be purchased at the lodge.

Moose Hunt

Archery or Rifle (Mid September / Early October)

The MOOSE HUNT at Rainbow Point Lodge is guaranteed to be one you will enjoy. There are few hunting thrills greater than meeting close up with a Canadian moose! The intense outdoors experience, and quality guides and services provided to each of our hunters is what keep our sportsmen coming back year after year.

Other Information

Deposits

Your reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit. Deposits must be received within 10 days of booking in order to have your reservation guaranteed. See “Method of Payment” tab below.

Cottage Reservations for Fishing: $100.00/person or $300.00/cottage, whichever is greater.

Cottage reservation deposits for arrivals after July 1 are refundable (less 20% administration fee) with written notice of cancellation received at least 90 days prior to start of reservation.
Cottage reservation deposits for arrivals in May & June are non-refundable. Consideration may be given to date transfers if vacancy can be filled.

Bear Hunting Reservations: $300.00/hunter at time of reservation with additional installment of $300.00 due March 1. Balance of account is payable in full 30 days prior to start of the hunt.

Moose Hunting Reservations: $500.00/hunter at time of reservation with
additional installment of $500.00 Feb 1st in the year of the hunt. Balance of account is payable April 1st in the year of the hunt.

Hunting deposits and instalments are non-refundable.

Deposits which were previously been put to forward dates during the pandemic years remain non-refundable, although will be fully honoured for 2022 dates. Guests affected are encouraged to contact the Lodge if there are any scheduling difficulties for the upcoming season.

Method of Payment

Deposits:

Deposits may be paid by personal cheque, money order or cashier’s cheque. Canadians may use E-transfer. Credit card payments are accepted, with a 4% service charge.

Balance of Account:

May be paid by cash at the time of your stay. Canadian may also pay by E-Transfer or debit.

Credit card payments are accepted, with a 4% service charge.

Personal cheques are NOT accepted at the time of your stay. You may send in a personal cheque if it is received a minimum of 30 days in advance of your stay.

Check-In / Check-Out

CHECK-IN time – After 3:00 p.m. No Early Arrivals. Please respect this time to allow us time to properly clean and sanitize your cottage for your safety and comfort, and to perform any required maintenance and cleaning of equipment and facilities.

CHECK-OUT time – No later than 8:00 a.m.

For our valued Canadian Guests, packages will be converted to CND. Contact us for pricing for your stay.
All rates and packages are subject to change
HST Tax & Gratuities are not included.
Early departures and delayed arrivals will be charged for full period reserved.
The Lodge reserve the right to make changes to arrival or departure times or days, or to specific services provided, should it be required to meet health and safety requirements. Advance notice would be provided whenever possible should changes be required.
Cottages and marine equipment are expected to be left in the condition given. Physical damage costs will be the responsibility of the guest.
